Runtime Details tab
Contains controls used to view basic information about the active simulation such as heating and cooling design days, start and end dates for the simulation, and the weather data file being used.
Note: The Runtime
Details tab is a subset of the
Simulation
results dialog. The information displayed here is defined when setting
up the simulation in the Simulation
dialog box’s
Calculate
tab
.
| Setting | Description |

| Report Details | Located in the left panel of the Runtime Details tab, Report Details is selected by default, which displays the report details in the data display panel on the right side of the Runtime Details tab. |
| Report Name | Displays the name given to the report during simulation setup in the Simulation dialog box’s Calculate tab. |
| Description | Displays the description entered for the report during simulation setup in the Simulation dialog box’s Calculate tab. |
| Heating Design Day | Displays the Heating Design Day or the coldest day of the year at the building location based on the selected Weather Profile data. |
| Cooling Design Day | Displays the Cooling Design Day or the hottest day of the year at the building location based on the selected Weather Profile data. |
| Simulation Start Day | Displays the Simulation Start Day which is defined during the simulation setup in the Simulation dialog box’s Calculate tab. |
| Simulation End Day | Displays the Simulation End Day which is defined during the simulation setup in the Simulation dialog box’s Calculate tab. |
| HVAC included | Displays either True or False based on if an HVAC system was selected for the simulation. Results can be viewed on the Simulation results dialog box’s HVAC tab. |
| Weather Profile | Used to select the project Weather Profile used for the active simulation. The weather profile is set in the Properties dialog box’s Properties For: Site panel. Project weather profile data is managed using the controls found in the Weather Manager dialog. |
| Simple Room Model | Displays either True or False based on if the Simple Room Model option is selected as the basis for the energy simulation. |
| Building Name | Displays the name entered for the building in the Properties dialog box’s Properties For: Building panel. |
| Building Type | Displays the building type selected from in the Properties dialog box’s Properties for: Building panel. |
